🕯️ What constitutes premium-quality incense?

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!

We adhere to traditional incense-making techniques, strictly controlling quality from raw materials to finished products:

Raw Materials: We select premium agarwood from core production areas in Yunnan, such as Xishuangbanna and Pu’er, ensuring purity and preventing the mixing of materials from other regions or of lower quality.

Formula: Yunnan agarwood powder + natural plant binder, free of chemical fragrances, artificial colors, combustion aids, and potassium nitrate, restoring the authentic aroma of Yunnan agarwood.

Process: Following traditional incense-making techniques, the incense is naturally air-dried, not high-temperature dried, preserving the original aroma and layered variations of the agarwood.

Appearance: The incense sticks are straight and uniform, with a smooth surface, free of breakage, mold, and impurities.

Aroma: When lit, the aroma is pure and sweet, full-bodied yet not pungent, restoring the unique warm sweetness and profound depth of Yunnan agarwood.

🍂 Aroma Characteristics: Sweet and warm, with a long-lasting aftertaste. Yunnan agarwood is renowned for its strong, mellow, and long-lasting aroma, and is widely recognized in the world of incense appreciation as a top-quality agarwood. Thanks to Yunnan’s unique highland climate, agarwood trees grow slowly, resulting in a richer and more mellow aroma. Some incense connoisseurs even refer to certain top-grade Yunnan agarwood as “Yunnan Qi,” a testament to its rarity and allure. Lighting a stick of Yunnan incense, the fragrance unfolds slowly:

First Note: A sweet honey scent initially fills the air, pure and pleasant, neither pungent nor overpowering, giving a refreshing and pleasant first impression. Compared to the sharp sweetness of Nha Trang agarwood from Vietnam, Yunnan agarwood possesses a unique clarity and transparency characteristic of the highlands, with a gentle sweetness.

Middle Note: The rich, woody base gradually emerges, intertwined with floral and subtle milky notes. The aroma is full-bodied yet not pungent, the sweetness intensifies, and the layers become rich and nuanced. Top-grade Yunnan agarwood at this stage exhibits a fragrance profile similar to Qinan agarwood, mellow and warm, without any harshness.

Base Note: A clean and elegant woody finish, with a lingering, sweet aftertaste. Even after the fragrance fades, a subtle, sweet scent lingers in the room, leaving a pleasant aftertaste.

The overall fragrance is sweet, warm, and mellow, rich and long-lasting, sweet without being cloying, and fragrant without being overpowering. Its aroma is as gentle and profound as the mountains and rivers of Yunnan, making it an ideal choice for everyday enjoyment and long-term companionship.
